Bump update - 23 weeks

How far along? 23 Weeks

Baby Bump? I definitely have a bump, and I am starting to feel huge. I know that I will just be getting bigger, but I feel huge already.

Maternity Clothes? I still have 1 or two things that still fit (not including maxi skirts). I think it’s time to invest in some more maternity clothes.

Best moment this week: Getting the house all clean for the visitors that are coming to see us this week.

Belly Button in or out: In, but I noticed this week it is starting to look different.

Miss anything?  Not that I can think of.

Food cravings: Yesterday I had the biggest craving for a ham sandwich. We still have not found a bread in Wisconsin that we really like.


Gender: BABY GIRL! 


Symptoms: I have had some weird dreams, growing belly, heartburn.  


Sleep: I have been waking up a couple times a night, but fall back to sleep pretty quickly.

This week baby is the size of: a large Mango… 11.5 inches and weighs around a pound. 


Baby’s development this week: Her ears are fully formed so she should be able to hear what I hear (muffled of course). She can also sense movement so she can feel when I am moving around.

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy.


New Baby Items: No new baby items this week. 


Looking forward to: Getting the nursery put together. I have been trying to think about the color scheme I want to do, and maybe I will start on a quilt in the next week or so.  

Food Aversions: None really.
