22 weeks
How far along? 22 Weeks
Baby Bump? This is
the first week that people have pointed out that my belly is definitely a baby belly.
I still have 1 pair of jeans that I can still button.
Maternity
Clothes? I have a pair of maternity dress pants for work. I plan to switch
between those and maxi skirts/dresses.
Best moment
this week: I feel like I am finally looking pregnant vs. look chubby or
like I have a beer gut or something. It’s nice to finally look pregnant.
Belly Button in or out: In
Miss
anything? Being able to
lay on my stomach. It’s been a while since it was comfortable, but sometimes I
just really want to lay on it.
Food cravings: I haven’t had any crazy pregnancy cravings yet. I have been waiting to experience the “I NEED IT NOW” type of craving but haven’t gotten any.

Food
Aversions: None really.
Gender: BABY GIRL!
Symptoms: I have had some weird dreams, she sometimes sits really low and it is super uncomfortable.
Sleep: Some nights I sleep pretty well, others I toss and turn all night unable to get comfortable.

This week baby is the size of: a papaya or a spaghetti squash… 11 inches and weighs just less than a pound.
Baby’s development this week: Her taste buds are starting to develop, and her nerve endings and brain are developed enough that she might be able to feel things.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy.
New Baby Items: No new baby items this week.
Looking forward to: Scott’s parents coming. They will be here for a few days over the fourth of July while Scott has a break from school. It will be nice to have family in town for a couple days.
